Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
The workunit was sent on 2.12. and received back on 4.12.. SO very fast 26 days ;-) So what went wrong there? In the opposite direction, work unit with zero CPU time and zero claimed credits getting awarded credits. https://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/workunit.php?wuid=81601271 . The results log show ...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
You can select which subproject you want and the long runtimes are the max values and mostly from slow ARM devices. On the charts you see the average runtime for always the last 100 results. Its not just slow ARM processors, how about a AMD EPYC 9354P 32-Core Processor [Family 25 Model 17 Stepping ...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Sorry guys, Primegrid has also very long running tasks on CPU. I have some which runs for many days. It sounds that you just look for arbitrary reasons to exclude yoyo. I just require fairness between projects which are usable for sprints. The runtimes for the last month are openly communicated her...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Hi Tim and everyone, I believe some projects are able to generate new tasks quickly to keep the ready-buffer constantly at 6k level for example, so yoyo possibly does. As Asteroids are showing us, 'tasks available' status doesn't mean the cruncher would get some immediately. And from the other side...

Formula Boinc Team Marathon Stats Tool
I hope some competitors find the following site of some use. https://boincot.uk "Boinc - Opportunities and Threats" All suggestions, questions and feedback are welcome on functionality and/or presentation. Defaults to my current team (of course) but the url for any selected team can be boo...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Choosing such a projekt kills the equal opportunity in a Sprint. I don't see how Asteroids kills equal opportunity, getting work out of Asteroids is very difficult but that is equal for everybody. I'm running Windows and Linux operating systems, AMD, Intel and ARM processors and they all had their ...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Microsoft are threatening to close the door on the TPM workaround and equally annoyingly close the door on a Windows install without logging into a Microsoft account. I've wondered if Microsoft will eventually dump Windows and go over to linux, they have put a lot of effort into WSL and WSL2 which w...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Boinc policy appears to be go going the other way, using virtual machines on Windows running Linux through WSL. At least one project has been issuing tasks for that setup - I can't remember which project but I had a few tasks shortly after I configured Windows, I don't appear to have any now.

Re: Gerasim site failure
I can't get into website and boinc can't find it either. From the stats boards the historic data has been re-added in at least two steps but mine hasn't so far. I'd hold off any cancellation until we know they have finished doing whatever they can, I'm not on discourse so don't know if there is any ...

Re: Sprints 2025 - timetable and projects selected
Gerasim did its best but I think we killed it (just) before the end of the sprint : website not reachable, impossible to upload results, FB sprint stat page stuck at 13:45 UTC... :) Mmm apparently it will be for a long time, says the admin . It went down overnight (2200 to 0300?) but it looks like ...
