Hi all

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Please be advised that the admins of the selected project for Sprint #5 have advised me that they have similar protection mechanisms (like the Asteroids project) which are in place to help prevent DDOS attacks.

As such, just like with Sprint #4, members who have large farms of host machines may find there are connection issues, especially in the first few minutes and hours after the Sprint starts.

So, please be aware and do NOT try and load up your bunkers straight away as it is Easter weekend and so project admin staff may not be available to manage or adjust any server-side settings.

Have a good crunch !
regards
Tim

Hi Tim,

thanks for reposting this. Really nice.
It was much fun as always and more than 450 pieces of this fun are still validating :D

Last race forced me to check some old GPUs out of the shelf and those working ones I will distribute to my teammates so these old but still capable for crunching devices could make some useful work before the retirement.

I mean, every sprint brings something new apart of fun: knowledge, experience, hardware resurrection.
Thanks once more for keeping this running!

Hi all

The project for Sprint #6 has been randomly selected. The project admin has confirmed that their project is ready to support the event with tasks (and with the usual caveats about any last minute interruptions/failures etc).

Hi all

The projects for Sprint #7 and #8 have both been randomly selected.

(This is because I will be away at the end of next week, so project #8 has been selected earlier than normal).

15th May update: I am away now until next week, so if any issues with this weekends Sprint, I will not be able to help  I have advised Sebastien so he may be able to provide assistance or fixes, if required.

regards

I know this may not be the most appropriate place for this, but I'm signed up Formula and the last sprint I was reporting correctly and placed 2nd in the last sprint.

https://www.formula-boinc.org/sprints.p ... printid=34

For the current sprint, I'm signed up, same email, same CPID, but not hitting FB sprint. I also noticed that free-dc isn't seeing me either, yet sees all the other projects I've done.

I've also been signed up for NumberFields for few years now, so if it was a sync issue I think it would have been solved by now.

Any ideas?

Hi

Thanks for the message.

I do not have responsibility for the "back-office" stats collection and tabulations so, I'll email Sebastien (who does look after this) and see if he can help fix it.

Edit: It also looks like BOINCstats has no record of you on NumberFields project as well...

https://www.boincstats.com/stats/-1/use ... rojectList

BUT:

Your user account on their website is definitely showing you earning credits:

https://numberfields.asu.edu/NumberFiel ... rid=125468

So, maybe you might want to check with the Admins there?

Send a PM to Eric:

https://numberfields.asu.edu/NumberFiel ... p?userid=2

So, thanks for letting me know and I'll advise you if I get any info from Sebastien.

regards
Tim

NekdDrgn

Did you explicitly allow stat-Export at the Projekt?
