Yoyo makes it very easy to select tasks with shorter durations.

Hiya

Well, the stats on the yoyo project website says:

Code: Select all

CPU time (sec)
94,270.34
which is 26.186 HOURS, and not DAYS

Whoops!

On the yoyo forum others have seen 20+day tasks,

Hiya

Yes but only to some degree:

Code: Select all

Cruncher - optimal golumb ruler
ECM
ECM P2
Siever
M Queens
PARI/GP
as some sub-projects are not available anymore such as M Queens and Cruncher and the rest (as has been mentioned already) have a huge range of completion times, which is the problem we are talking about for a yoyo Sprint

Code: Select all

Sub	Unsent	In Progress	Avg Runtime in HOURS (min-max))
ecm	3,087	6,176 7.20 (0.19-108.20)
Siever	15,951	3,052 8.62	(4.04-28.10)
ecm P2	1,640	1,746 3.69 (0.06-41.61)
PARI/GP	0	0 0.00 (0.00-0.00)
So potential run times of 108, 28 or 41 hours is not that suitable for a 4 day Sprint and you have no idea of how long each task will take once it has downloaded.
