Hello!

I will say a little about the SPT and ODLK2025 projects.

The description of the ODLK2025 project says
The ODLK25 is a subproject of the BOINC project Symmetric Prime Tuples (SPT)
https://boinc.termit.me/adsl/
See
https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/fo ... 3&postid=5

The owner of both servers is my colleague termit.
These are similar servers.

The person who actually administers the SPT project refused to launch the second Application in the project using my new algorithm.
Therefore, my colleague and I had to launch a new BOINC project ODLK2025.

It is important to understand that these two projects do not intersect in any way.

I quote the description of the ODLK2025 project
The project solves the problem of finding symmetric tuples of consecutive prime numbers,
which cannot be found in the BOINC project SPT due to the search range limitation to 2^64.
Everything is stable with the tasks in the SPT project,
I have always monitored this.

There are other problems.
As was rightly noted here, we have ideological differences with the person administering the project.
And how all this will end, I do not know yet.
My colleague termit does not want to administer both projects, he administers the ODLK2025 project.

The SPT project has exhausted itself, it has a very small search range.
We need to move on, that is, launch the second Application.
But the "administrator" categorically refuses.

The issue is being resolved for now.

Tim

I always log in to this (ODLK2025) page instantly
https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/server_status.php

Sometimes logging in to this (SPT) page is instant, and sometimes it takes a few seconds
https://boinc.termit.me/adsl/server_status.php

So far, no one has complained about the inability to connect to the ODLK2025 project.

But I do not exclude that the server's throughput is small.
And it can become even smaller with an increase in the number of crunchers.

(Admin Edit: Added project names to links above)

SiDock now has non-ARM tasks again.

Hello!

This is interesting information.

I asked a colleague from Italy to look at the page
https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/fo ... postid=108
in the ODLK2025 project forum.

He replied
I see it only at home. From work it does not open.
This makes me wonder: are some foreign providers blocking Russian sites?

I have news.

The BOINC project SPT has been stopped.
BOINC project ODLK2025 has been connected to the Free-DC statistics site.

I ask everyone to switch capacities from the SPT project to the ODLK2025 project.

Hi Natalia

I doubt that service providers, (in general) are blocking Russian websites. But it might happen depending on the provider and what security provisions they are making to "protect" their customers.

There is also the higher probability, that the browser being used might have extra security features, either as a user-added extension, or as part of the browsers own built-in protection/security system.

There are already 29 teams participating in the BOINC project ODLK2025.

Can we hope for the inclusion of the ODLK2025 project in the Marathon?

The project really needs support!

Hi UBT-Timbo,

GPUGRID stats haven't been updated in a while I see, which seems logical since they've been down for a while to upgrade the server.

Meanwhile they are back up, work is being sent out, and the stats are made available again.

Note that the stats are now at this new URL: https://gpugrid.net/gpugrid/stats/

Also - if it should matter for FB - the overall project URL is now https://gpugrid.net/gpugrid/

GPUGRID is back: great!
I still see Universe@Home in the marathon list, though.
The project is closed, though!
Why is minecraft@home missing?
Now that CPU tasks are also available now.
Many teams are active on minecraft@home.
It's a shame that the project is still missing from the marathon.

Greetings to all Formula Boinc competitors.

Hello UBT - Timbo!

It seems you haven't answered my question about including the ODLK2025 project in the Marathon.

The project has been working steadily for the fourth month.
34 teams are participating in the project
https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/top_teams.php

Two Applications have been launched in Windows and Linux.
There are always tasks.

Nobody complains about poor server availability.
