This is an international website, why are the dates for this year's sprints in American M/D/Y format? According to Wikipedia, the USA is the only country to use that. The orient uses Y/M/D, and the entire rest of the world uses D/M/Y. It's important we don't get the wrong starting dates!

				Hiya
The Sprint dates have always been in M/D/Y format, since they started in 2017:
https://formula-boinc.org/sprint.py?lang=en&year=2017
As to WHY this is the case, I do not know...
It could be, because back in 2017, a large number of BOINC projects were based in USA and hence had a large number of American crunchers...so, keeping the date format might have made FB a more popular Challenge for them to be involved in?
However, if one was to look at the schedule of Sprints for any year since then, it is fairly obvious that they are in USA format, so I doubt there would be any confusion - even if it takes a second or two to convert to D/M/Y format.

regards
Tim

It's ok to use any format if a lot of dates are on the screen. But if I'm told "this will happen on 5/6/2022", when is that? It's about time the world fought back and stopped them using this. Same goes for Fahrenheit! "It's cold today, it's 25 degrees!" No, that's quite warm, but they think water freezes. They can be different if it makes them feel good, but when it gives me the wrong information I feel like launching a thermonuclear warhead.
P.S. Scotland will win your competitions this year, all of them.

The real pressing question is whether or not the Formula BOINC server is using solid state drives or spinning disks

Do you even have a point? Or have you just appeared here to annoy me now I've blocked you in the other competition?

It's fitting you put it in quotes. It's utterly meaningless. That isn't a measure of Ukrainians. It's a measure of people who think making their team win will somehow help them in the war. If you want to help, go fight, blow up Putin, crunching won't help.

I believe facts. I'm not stating my position on either side, I'm saying if you want to help the Ukraine, send weapons, food, money, etc. Or attack Russia. But making their team be higher in position in Boinc does not help people affected by war.
