**UPDATE: The link to register for 2025 is now OPEN**

NEW Team and Member Registrations for 2025 will be OPEN as from 1st November 2024 and will remain open until the end of 2025.

EXISTING Teams and Members will be carried forward for 2025, BUT there are some caveats:

1) Team founders will be contacted (early in the new year) to confirm that their team wants to be included (or team founders can contact me and request that they are deleted from the FB Challenges at any time).

2) Members who have contributed ZERO BOINC credits in the FB 2024 stats, will remain in League 4 (of the 2025 League tables) and will stay there until BOINC credits are earned. However, unless there are any qualifying reasons for them to remain (at the admins discretion) these members may be removed without notice.

As of 7th Feb2025, this is the CONFIRMED list of the TEAMS registered (so far) for the 2025 season:

Hi all

Messages have now been sent to the "Team Founder" of every registered Team (that was involved in the 2024 Marathon) requesting their confirmation that they want to be involved in the 2025 Marathon.

This has been achieved by sending a Private Message to each Team Founder via the PrimeGrid project, which was chosen as it seemed to be one of the more popular projects that every team would support.

As can be seen at the top of this topic, so far only 7 teams have confirmed their involvement.

So, if you are a member of one of the UNCONFIRMED teams (listed here: https://www.formula-boinc.org/forum/vie ... 3960#p3960), please check with your PrimeGrid "team founder" and get them to reply to my message by the end of this month.

UPDATE: UNCONFIRMED TEAMS will be placed in the League 4 as of 1st February.

There is now just ONE day before the TEAM CONFIRMATION for Formula BOINC 2025 is finalised.

If not then please ask your team founder on the PrimeGrid project to respond to my PM, sent directly to them.

Unfortunately none of us who has access to the PG team account is available. But Team Planet 3DNow! is still willing to take part in 2025! I hope to confirm our will to participate this way.

And I'll update the confirmed list with P3D included !

Maybe someone can make a "team founder" transfer request (on PG project) so that an active member of your team is able to respond to PM's from other PG members, especially those in your own team? As you could be missing out on important information otherwise?

Hi Tim I am one of the team Captains and founders of Crunching@EVGA, you can go ahead and take this as a yes we are in.
Not sure who the msg. was sent to but I didn't get one. Also been busy with some private issues that I am dealing with and haven't had the time or thoughts to deal with this at this time.
And if you haven't seen the EVGA forums are now read only so there is no talking to us there anymore. Looks like EVGA moved over to Reddit and the bill1024 on Reddit is not me, name was taken years ago I had tried to make an account. I doubt I will be joining in on Reddit. You can msg me here or send me an email which I would think you have from when I made an account here or msg me or Yodap on primegrid.

re: My message to Team Founders

This was sent to all the founders of relevant teams on the PrimeGrid project - chosen as virtually every FB team has active members supporting this project .

And in the case of Crunching@EVGA, the message was sent to the published founder: "EVGA DC Captains" (with project ID 121657).

But obviously, if this account is not being monitored by an active team member, then this is why the message did not elicit a response. Maybe someone should make a "transfer request" to change the founder as otherwise the team administration could be taken over by someone else (if the "transfer request" is not declined within the specified time, which (IIRC) is 60 days?).

I did register there a few months ago, after a "good friend" advised me that at least one Crunching@EVGA member (gsrcrxsi) was making salacious statements about my actions and how the FB stats were being calculated, after a case of cheating - so I registered in order to reject the quite unacceptable and irresponsible comments - but the twat carried on - and as such, once I said my piece, I didn't go back, as clearly the person had his own reasons for talking crap .

But that's the trouble with "social media" as many platforms have no moderators to police the rubbish/lies/falsehoods etc that some people think they have a right to spread, whenever and wherever they like.
